Our project partner, INESC TEC, recently hosted the “Carried by the Waves, Driven by the Wind” event in Portugal to explore the future of offshore renewable energy.

The session served as a key platform to present the goals and technical challenges of the EU-SCORES project. Bernardo Silva from INESC TEC detailed the objectives of integrating wave and wind energy. Vítor Gontijo from our partner CorPower Ocean showcased their advanced wave energy converter (WEC) technology.

The event, which also featured insights on maritime spatial planning from WavEC, successfully underlined the critical role of hybrid offshore solutions in the energy transition.
